What Supernatural Creatures do you Love in Urban Fantasy?
This one’s simple. Leave a comment telling me what supernatural creatures/beings you love seeing in urban fantasy books.
Help Me Name a Demon
I’m working on an urban fantasy series at the moment and one of the villains is a demon. I’ve been using the name Ashbel but I don’t know, something seems off with the name – Ashbel doesn’t sound heinous enough. Or does it?
What do you think? Do you have a perfectly wicked name for me? Let me know in the comments if you think Ashbel sounds like he could be a big bad demon or if you have a better naming option.
If I use the name you submit I’ll add you to the book’s Acknowledgements page and you’ll own bragging rights to naming the series’ malevolent villain.
C is for Camp NaNoWRiMo #AtoZChallenge
This April I’m participating in my first Camp NaNoWRiMo. I joined a cabin with other fellow KBoard members after I saw Evenstar’s Kboards thread.
My goal is to write 120,000 words this month. As of today I have 6,632 words down. I’m going to be traveling on Thursday for 3 days so that’s going to eat up some of my time as well but I’m fairly confident I’ll meet my target.
Camp has been great so far. I enjoy the company of the other authors and it’s nice to see everyone updating their word counts. It’s certainly motivational watching the great Amanda M. Lee reach hers day in and day out.
